Car polishing and paint correction
Dull, swirled or faded paint brought back to a shine, without a respray.
What the job involves
Paint correction is machine polishing. It takes a very fine layer off the top of the clear coat, and with it the swirl marks, light scratches and dull patches that make paint look tired. A full car polish does that across every panel and brings back the depth of the colour.
It is also the last step after a repair or a respray, when the new paint is polished so it sits right with the rest of the car.
What we take on
- Full car polishing
- Paint correction for swirls and light marks
- Polishing after a repair or a respray

Questions about car polishing and paint correction
What is the difference between a polish and paint correction?
They are the same kind of work. Paint correction is the careful machine polishing that removes swirl marks and light scratches from the clear coat. A full car polish does that over the whole car.
Will polishing remove a deep scratch?
No. Polishing only works on marks in the clear coat. A scratch that has gone through the paint needs to be repaired and painted.
Got damage that needs fixing?
